In January 2008, Captain made Florida Exotic Bird Sanctuary
his new home. There he will be able to
socialize with many birds of his kind and fly free in a huge aviary.
This has been a very difficult decision that has lingered in
our minds for a long time. We know that
this is best for Captain. We will miss Captain tremendously and we know that so
many people who got to know him will as well.
The comforting part about this is that we know that Captain
will love his new home and friends. We
will be able to visit Captain periodically and perhaps bring him back to the
beach for a short visit, if possible.
Island Time Design will continue to contribute to the
